Since BenchVent is hosting a competition in which you can win an Exagon cabinet I thought it was about time to show you where I produce my tabletop output. You can find the picture of the workshop in my basement after the break.
I started my table top career with space crusade. When some years later I began to play Warhammer 40.000 I was short on money and thought it would be a good idea to safe some and use the space crusade models for 40k. So I cut, reworked and painted them (awfully) by that ending their long term use. Now after years I find my Space crusade game unplayable and I decided to send replacement models back from 40.
The Eldar Bomber is nearing its completion. I already smoothed the wings and added further detail like the additional thrusters (it's vector dancer after all) and weapons. The addition of the flight base helps to make it look final as well.
The Eldar Firehawk was sitting on a shelf in my hobby room now for more than 4 years. To be precise it was sitting in three of my hobby rooms since I moved two times during this time. Since flyers have become a viable option with the resent release of Warhammer 40.000 6th edition, I felt the urge to get him on the road finally.
